  1. Hi, I'm one of your creative partners.

Looking at your words the first thing that comes to mind is a locked room mystery.

    1. Thanks for your input, Rhia. I was coming up with all kinds of elaborate ways to incorporate that padlock (like making it the signature of a serial killer or something similar) and it hadn't even crossed my mind that the characters could simply be locked in a room

    2. Another creative partner here ;P

I thought of something symbolic, like how the detective has locked away a horrible memory of his life in his heart, perhaps his daughter was killed by accident during a theatre play, like the plastic sword was swapped out for a real one and she was stabbed... now he must confront himself.. for.. some reason lol

    3. Thanks, David. I hadn't thought too much about it being more psychological. The only problem then would be how do I give enough information that he's a detective and also use the padlock as a prop?

  2. Hey Michael I am also one of your creative partners :)

From the words and discusion above I got an idea about animation in computer game style. Something like trailer for new game where the detective is locked in theater and he has to unlock several padlocks to get out.

    1. That's an interesting idea. I was thinking something along the lines of a Private Detective is on the case of a serial killer who leaves a signature padlock on each of his victims, either attached to them in some way or pierced through their skin. I also took some advice from David at attempted to add some psychological aspects to the story by this either being the same killer or a similar one to the subject of his first ever case which went 'cold'.

Please give me your thoughts on this :)
