By the January 10th deadline, I plan to be ready to rig my model/s and get started on animating, and will have submitted :

    • Humanoid Concept Art
    • Giant Concept Art
    • Quadruped Concept Art
    • Expression Sheets (where applicable)*
    • Gesture Sheets (where applicable)*
    • Photographs needed for CG set
    • Audio
    • Storyboards
    • Animatic
    • Finished Model/s*
    • Textured Model/s*
    • Professional 'Art Of'
*The expression/gesture sheets may not necessarily apply to each of the creatures I design.

*I'm currently unsure how many characters I will be modelling for my animation. While I am designing three types of creatures, I don't yet know whether all of these will be used, or possibly just one. This will be decided once I have finished all concept art and have begun working on storyboards.

I decided it would be a good idea for us to try out some outfits for Moom using Photoshop before taking anything into Maya. We're trying to make each of the characters instantly recognisable, without having to edit the model too much, or change it completely.

We haven't yet decided whether we'll be taking any of these further, but at the very least, it's a good way to visualise the final outcome on the Moom model.

These silhouettes aren't necessarily for any specific character, instead I am trying to get some sense of what a retired Superhero may look like by sketching out different body sizes and poses.

If there are any that strike you as fitting a certain character (Batman, Flash, Superman or Hulk), then please let me know by commenting here, or over at the

Flash Set – A plain staircase with carpeted floor. A boring-looking colour on the wall behind his stairlift, lined with framed posters of him in his hay-day all the way up. Possibly a hallway at both the top and bottom of the stairs? Slippers neatly placed together at the foot of the stairs on carpeted floor.

Batman Set – Plain background during the fast sequence (maybe a room in the background but heavily blurred?) And a normal-looking garage from the outside, on a small road (maybe a cul-de-sac?)

Hulk Set – Top-down of a huge multi-lane highway, packed full of cars. Hulks’ car interior looks quite boring, maybe with a plush toy of the Hulk instead of dice on his rear-view mirror to let viewers know who they’re looking at

Superman Set – Flat land in front of the camera, leading to some trees and multiple tall buildings on the horizon, which Superman will be behind when he’s attempting to fly. When he crashes, he will land on the flat land and skid towards the camera.

This is the updated version of our 3-Panel Comic.
Scene descriptions have been added and the panels have been coloured to give a better idea of our plans.

This is a rough 3-panel comic that I put together to give a general idea for what our plans are at the moment.

All of the names and appearances of the characters are subject to change as we go forward in the project.
