I've had a fairly hard time coming up with creature concepts, which I think is because I hadn't refined the testimonial descriptions into more specific creature types. I went back over my testimonial and applied the traits I'd listed to specific creature types that I used to imagine, as well as adding more that I've remembered since my initial testimonial. I then went over my brother's testimonial and applied his descriptions to the types of creature they fit best.

    Biped - Humanoid
    Approximately human height
    Bark-like skin
    Branch-like limbs
    Bent/misshapen bodies
    Agile
    Silent
    Stalk their prey
    Predators
Hunt from the trees - unseen
    Voices sound like creaking trees
    Fast
    Use some primal weaponry
    Slim
    Feral
    Hunt in packs
Can walk/run on two legs as well as all fours
    Protruding spines
    Strangely-coloured eyes

    Biped - Giant
    Much taller than humans
Most have bark-like skin (others can be slightly fleshy with foresty accents)
    Very strong
Some have horns (not just on the head)
Loud - booming voices and footsteps
Hunt and capture other creatures and humans
More advanced than most other forest creatures but still simple-minded
    Some use primitive weapons
Move quickly due to their large size and long strides
Reminiscent of Tolkien-style trolls or Norse Jotun
    Always alone
    Territorial

    Quadruped
    Animalistic
    Large variety of species
Some resemble big cats, apes, rhinos and bison
    Many tower overhead
    Very heavy
    Bark-like skin
    Branch-like horns
    Mossy/grassy fur
